Guest Post: Tuesday Treats

Introducing my first guest blogger – Anna Susanne, aka The Travelling Pixie. She has kindly written the first ever guest post for me; it’s about ice cream too, a big bonus!

We had Lola’s Cupcakes last week, and for this week’s sweet treats, it’s gelato woo!

I shall say no more, let us all enjoy her post below. ♥

Probably known for being the best Ice Cream Parlour in London, this cozy gelato store located in South Kensington really is full of wonders.

Located about three minutes away from the South Kensington tube station and about five to ten minutes away from Exhibition Road and the V&A Museum, Oddono’s Gelati is the perfect spot for a tiny afternoon refreshment – and a great treat!

We ordered a double scoop large cup of Pistachio and Hazelnut ice cream for £4.70, which is probably round about the same price at Haagen-Dazs.

This actually was the best ice cream I’ve ever had in London. The familiar nutty flavour of Pistachio and Hazelnuts blended perfectly in the rich and creamy texture of the ice cream – I actually felt like I was in paradise. I’d definitely end up being a regular customer if it weren’t so far from home and school, but their ice cream is definitely worth travelling for once in a while.

Address: 14 Bute Street, London SW7 3EX

Note: Anna’s an amazing blogger; she writes about travelling mostly, but she also writes about food, dance, fashion and so on. And she’s one of my favourite bloggers – so do go check out her blog! Happy Tuesday everyone. ♥
